CasparFest is again seeking sponsors and non-profit partners for the eighth annual CasparFest. The companies whose logos and names appear above generously agreed to sponsor CasparFest in 2009, and we urge you to click to their websites, and let them know you found them through CasparFest. Coast-based non-profit organizations are invited to join as as partners.
  • Since Caspar Community is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, any donations are tax exempt.
  • We are proud of our backers, and intend to include their names as we advertise the event, enlist other sponsors, and attract the attention of our audience.
  • If sponsors or partners are planning mailings we hope they will promote our event, proudly citing company sponsorship, of course. We will gladly help with the copy and provide the necessary website information.
  • Sponsors who wish to take a 10-by-10 foot booth at the Market will be assured (1) that they will be the only vendor of their particular type present (if they so desire), and (2) their stall space and utilities will be included as part of their sponsorship benefits. Sponsors also get preferential stall choice. Sponsors desiring a booth should fill out and return a Market Application Form here.
  • Non-profit partners are entitled to a 10-by-10 foot booth at the Market for no charge. Please fill out and return a Market Application Form here.
  • We look to local sponsors and partners whose offerings and endeavors fit our theme well to help us sweeten and refine this sponsorship solicitation by telling us how to make it more tempting to others. If you have ideas about companies you would like to see present as sponsors or vendors at the Market, please let us know, or direct them to this site.

Dear Local Business Owner and Community Leader,

The Caspar Community & Noyo Food Forest are proud to be co-presenters of the eighth annual CasparFest, September 25 and 26, 2010. This two-day, family oriented event is an opportunity to celebrate and demonstrate the elements of Sustainable Communities on the Mendocino Coast and serves as a major fund-raising opportunity for many local nonprofit partners. Workshops on alternative power, gardening, organic food, food preparation, animal husbandry, and community planning and self-sufficiency fill the center for two days. Outdoors, the grounds are filled with a marketplace, local non-profit information booths, children's activities, great organic food, a parade and lots of entertainment. This year's music lineup includes Joe Craven, Gene Parsons, Foxglove, Gwyneth and Monko, and more.

In past years, over five thousand people have come to CasparFest. We are hoping you will join us by becoming an event sponsor. Your sponsorship will help to cover the substantial costs of producing this event and keep the entry fee low. It will also show your support of the organizations that are presenting CasparFest and their work towards the ideal of local sustainability.

Cash and In-kind donations are both welcome.

As an Event Sponsor of $300 you will receive:

  • Logo placement on the CasparFest website and promotional posters.
  • Your business will be mentioned and thanked from the stage once each day during the festival.
  • Multiple large thank-you posters on the festival site with your logo.
  • Opportunities to speak directly to the public at the event.
  • Booth space (and, if you wish, industry exclusivity) at the event.
  • Venue sponsorship* (signage and logo) at the Pizza Oven, Playgrounds, Culinary Showcase, Sustainability Theater, Discovery Museum, Face Painting, or Gertie the Gorse Monster.
Your sponsorship is tax deductible.

As a $500 (or more) Super Sponsor you will receive all of the above plus:

  • Preferential logo placement on the CasparFest website and promotional posters.
  • Recognition in newspaper ads and press releases.
  • Major Venue Sponsorship* at the Main Stage
  • Your business will be mentioned and thanked from the stage three times each day during the festival.

* Most venue sponsorships will be limited to a single sponsor; the Main Stage will be limited to two sponsors only, and so early sponsors enjoy an advantage.
